To serve the overall diplomatic situation of China, and promote international exchanges in related fields in Tianjin, the Delegation of Young Leaders of Political Parties from Portuguese-speaking African Countries, accompanied by the International Department under the Central Committee of CPC and the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, including 20 members, visited BOMESC on April 3. Qiu Pan, the Vice President of the company, Wei Dongchao, the Manager of Operation Department, Xing Huiying, the Deputy Manager of Operation Department, Chen Yankui, the Director of Foreign Affairs, and other related officers participated the reception.

At the symposium, President Qiu, on behalf of BOMESC, expressed welcome for the arrival of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and the Delegation of Young Leaders of Political Parties from Portuguese-speaking African Countries. Manager Xing introduced the BOMESC’s business sectors layout, current situation of development, business philosophy and future planning in detail.

The Delegation and its party expressed thanks for the warm reception from BOMESC, and highly praised the corporate development of BOMESC. The Delegation said that China and African countries have good diplomatic relations, the development trend of which continued to improve. As one of the birthplaces of ancient humans and ancient civilization in the world, Africa owns a great variety of explored mineral resources with huge reserves. It is rich in oil and natural gas reserves, with the reserves of many minerals ranked first in the world. Based on this visit, the Delegation affirmed the corporate development and future planning of BOMESC, and expressed their desire to cooperate with BOMESC in the future by taking this opportunity.
Then, accompanied by and with the introduction by President Qiu, the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and the Delegation of Young Leaders of Political Parties from Portuguese-speaking African Countries visited the BOMESC’s sites at all phases, the works under construction including Module TMP002 of Arctic LNG 2 Project, and Module 9P of Bacalhau Project. At last, they took group photos in front of the vessel of Mero 2 Project, completing the visit successfully.
