Successful Load out of GLNG Switchrooms
The last 5 switchrooms of GLNG project were successfully lifted onto AAL ship at BOMESC jetty on 30th Jul 2013. They will be delivered to Brisbane (East Australia) after 30 days and transported to Santo’s yard at Gladstone.
The Santos GLNG Project is a US$18.5 billion pioneering venture to convert coal seam natural gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) for export to global markets.
This contract includes 18 switchrooms starting from detail engineering, shop design, procurement, construction up to equipment installation and commissioning. Australian standards are strictly followed during execution of the project. Delivery of GLNG switchrooms is a major milestone in BOMESC’s journey to Australia market.
