The Company Held a Special Training for “Project Cost and Contract Management Practice and Case Analysis”
In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, it is an important topic in front of enterprises to find effective management methods based on the market characteristics in order to create benefits higher than the industry. To further improve the business level of the company’s project management personnel, and continuously improve their cost and contract management ability and project profitability, BOMESC specially invited senior practical experts to deliver a two-day special training to more than 60 employees from the Operation Center, Construction Department, Operation Department, Procurement Department, and Finance Department from December 25th to 26th. Chee Lip binn, the Manager of Project Operation Center made a speech of “course opening speech and study wishes” for the training.
The training focused on a detailed explanation from two major aspects - project cost management and contract risk control, and combined with the specific cases including the application of Critical Path Method in project duration and cost claims, the application of cost index method in cost management, the application of Earned Value Method in project cost practical control, the application of change and claim in project cost control. The combination of explaining and practising helped the trainees to understand the meaning of cost management in projects, know about the basic methods of project cost control, and grasp the effective cost analysis tools.
This training made the trainees seize the system thinking of cost and contract management work,open up their vision of work, and expand their work thinking, which had great guiding significance to improve the cost management level of project management personnel, and enhance their project benefits creating ability. BOMESC will continue to arrange regular trainings based on its development needs and in combination with development strategies, so as to apply the knowledge learned, and continuously improve the project management level, and promote the sound development of the enterprise.
