On 28 May 2013, First Cutting Steel Ceremony for Wheatstone LNG Plant OSBL Module Fabrication project was held jointly by BOMESC, Bechtel and Chevron companies at the steel fabrication workshop of BOMESC yard. BOMESC President Mr. Peng Wencheng, Vice President Mr. Peng Wenge, Vice President and Project Manager Mr. Panther Qiu, Bechtel Project Manager Ross Prior and Chevron Module Delivery Manager Mr. Mike Julian with their project teams jointed the ceremony.

This project consists of 64 OSBL modules and two (2) Slug Catcher modules. Total weight of modules is 57000 MT approximately. Final completion date is Feb 2016. The ceremony indicates project coming into an important milestone – Fabrication Starts.
